Influenster Sweetheart VoxBox Olay Fresh Effects and more...

In February I was lucky to be chosen to receive and review the Infuenster Sweetheart VoxBox for Valentines day. First I must say that this was complimentary for testing purposes. I got these from Influenster (Link opens in a new window).

So the first thing I tried was the Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go bar. I really enjoyed its flavor. It was coconut. I could see myself enjoying some of these at some point. They retail at $9.99 for a box of 5 bars.

The next thing that I tried and still using is the Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response. I really enjoy the smell of this product. Its very fresh smelling and is very relaxing to me. To me it kinda of smells like Mango's. This product retails between $7.99 and $9.99. I am thinking I may make a switch over to this one from my old antiperspirant. There have been many moments in my life where other deodorants have failed in the stress department. For the first time ever I have one that does the job it was intended to do!!

This next product I have only tried once because soon after I got my Acne Product that I had ordered before finding out I was getting the VoxBox. The Olay Fresh Effects {Va-Va-Vivid!} Powered Contour Cleansing System and Olay Fresh Effects {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser.  They came in the same packaging my assumption would be for the testing of this product. What I liked about this product was that it left my face feeling very fresh and soft. It was like getting a little massage on my face. The fragrance was very subtle and clean. The last one that I have is the Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray. This is for your hair. I'm not one for putting stuff in my hair. I'm more of a go natural kind of person. The hold is good. I do not have other products to compare this to.

Its been awhile... *8.10.11*

I can't believe how long its been since I have done an update on Neal. Wow. Well where do I start? Where did I leave off? Oh ok, Whole Milk.. I had to go look lol. So Neal switched to whole milk with no problems. In fact he still loves milk just as much as he did when we switched over. Neal's first birthday was a blast. He got so many gifts. I had to clean his toy box out after his party just to fit everything. Since then he has just been growing like a weed. Neal's second birthday didn't go so well. Neal ended up getting sick on his birthday so we had to put it off then on the day we planned on holding it after that he ended up getting sick so we had to put it off again. We eventually got to have the party but by then everyone had plans so pretty much non of this friends were able to show up. I feel like he went from one to two word sentences to 4 and 5 word sentences over night. Its crazy. I will keep everyone posted the best I can since I am working full time and have my hands full with Neal.

This morning I got up to a surprise in my email. Someone had commented on one of my Blogs. The fact that someone in general commented surprised me but what got me even more was who it was. In hopes that you will read this post I want to tell you that I am very happy that you read my post. You are a very strong person for how you handled yourself that night. The only thing I can say to your thank you, from lack of better words, is your welcome. Stay strong and if you ever need to talk, I’m here to listen.

Whole Milk

Last night I decided to start Neal on whole Milk. He is on his very last can of formula and I wanted to make sure he would like it before going completely out of it. He loves it. I gave him some before his lunch today and I could not get the cup away from him to give him his lunch. Last night he got some with dinner and did not need a bottle when he went to bed for the night. Thats awesome! I do know he likes to wake up when I go to bed, because we have to share a room since I'm living with my parents, so i will try my best to remember to give him a little bit of whole milk. I can't wait for him to be completely off of formula. I can handle $3 and some change every time he runs out vs $23 every time he runs out. So yeah, I'm very excited that he took to the milk so well.

11 Months

There has been quiet a bit I have not put up here yet. Dang... lol. Well Neal is walking fully now. He still has those moments where he falls. He is still working on standing up without having to pull up on something. We have gone to the park a couple of times and he has had lots of fun just being himself. He can say momma, dada, nana, and Hi. We are working on bye bye and pop pop. Um... I know there is more but I'm really tired and can't think of it all.. I will just have to leave it off here. Today I will be taking Neal out for a walk since it is so nice out. YAY for warm weather. lol Bye everyone.
