Phew The Holidays are Over!

I am so happy that the holidays are over. It has been one crazy week. I'm gonna try to put this down the best that I can. Dec. 24, 2009: My plans that day were originally to go to Neal's fathers for an early Christmas and then home for a bath and then to my Aunts for the Christmas eve party. Kenny, Neal's father, had to reschedule the visit for the day after Christmas. He had to do some shopping. The pretty much opened my entire day up. I instead took the time to clean up some things, do laundry, get a shower, and get ready for the Christmas eve party. Around 8pm we arrived at my Aunts house. We had an awesome time. Neal stayed up quiet late, 3 hours past bedtime. He got a pair of pajamas to wear that night and Christmas morning, and a few toys. Dec. 25, 2009: That was a crazy day. I had no Idea it was going to be as crazy as it was. We woke up at 9am. Thats when we started unwrapping presents. Neal got many toys and a bunch of clothes. I got some clothes and a new webcam (YAYNESS). At 12pm Grandma Donna came over to visit Neal and give him Christmas presents also. He got a couple of toys and a lot of clothes. She stayed for about an hour before leaving. At that time I was suppose to go to Dave's for Christmas there but Jimmy and Jessie (Brother and Sister In Law) showed up Just as I was about to get Neal dressed. We opened the gifts that they had for Neal which was a toy and some pajamas. After that I got Neal dressed we left for Dave's. I got there a bit after 2pm. Neal got quiet a bit from Grandma Milee. Baby food fruit flavored, some puffs strawberry apple flavored, a push and ride toy, and some more toys. I got a new jacket, contact solution which I was needing, a new tooth brush, electric, and a bunch of other stuff. At about 4pm we left Dave's to return to my house for dinner at 4:30pm. Dave did go but drove separate. When we got to the house it was packed. People everywhere. There was my grandma, my mom, my dad, my stepdad, my two brothers, my sister in law, my niece, my step-dad's step-mom and dad, his cousin, me, dave, cousin ricky and Neal. I ended up with a headache from all the mayhem. After everyone left and Neal went to bed I played a bit on the computer before going to bed myself. I ended up with a real bad migraine. Dec. 26, 2009: Around 2pm I took Neal to see his father. He had gotten him some clothes. We stayed there for about 2 and a half hours before having to leave. We had other plans at 5pm. Dave got off work at 5pm and we were suppose to meet up at my house to go to his friend Bryan's house for a late Christmas get together. We had a great time. Neal stayed up late again. We got home a little bit after midnight. Dec. 27, 2009: Happy Birthday! I turned 21. For my birthday we went to the movies to see New Moon from the Twilight Saga then we went to dinner at The Olive Garden. I had a blast. Neal was watched by my sister in law Jessie. He done very good. No fussing or anything. At around 8pm him and my niece Jillian had fallen asleep. We got home at almost 10pm. We had an awesome Christmas. Better then I could have hoped for.

Busy Busy Busy...

It has been a busy week already. We got our new couch today. Poor Neal sad that all his extra space is gone lol. The couch is bigger then my stepdad expected it to be lol. After Christmas we have to rearrange the living room. Thursday I had to take Neal to see his father then later, around 8, that evening we have Christmas party to go to for the family. Then of course Christmas is Friday. Neals grandma on his Fathers side is going to bring him presents that day then I have to go to my Fiance's so that Neal can get his presents from there then I have to come back home for Christmas dinner. Sunday I am turning 21. I don't plan on doing anything but sitting on my butt at home UNLESS my Fiance's friend Brian come in Sat. then we will probably hang out with him to do gift exchange and celebrate his birthday since his is on Monday... Neal got worn out today. He played in the extra space from 10am to about 12:30pm. He went down for a nap. Got up at about 2:30, just after the people who delivered the couch left. He played from 2:30pm to about 7:00pm got a 20 min bath cause he plays in the tub. Got a bottle around 7:45pm and was literally asleep in my arms when I was holding him on my way to the crib by 8:00pm lol. I'm a tired momma today lol.

Wavy TV 10

This picture here was on the news last night. I say last night because it is 2:00am on Dec. 20 and the news was at 11:00pm on Dec. 19. lol So here is how it happened. I took Neal outside for his first time in the snow. I had my little brother get some pictures because it was pretty exciting. I had been praying for snow so that Neal could see it. We were only outside for a few mins before we came back in. I let Neal play for a bit, gave him a bottle and put him to bed. I then got on the computer and sent the pictures to Wavy TV 10 so that they could add them to the slide show they have on their web page. I was only expecting them to add them to the slide show so when we watched the news at 11:00pm we were completely shocked to see that the picture posted above had made it on TV. YAY Neal and I. Neals Teeth

I finally got a picture of Neal's teeth. You can see all four. The bottom ones are a bit harder to see because I had to angle the camera so that you could see his top teeth. Yayness! Also it snowed yesterday. We got about 2 inches. After midnight it started raining. When we woke up this morning the snow and pretty much gone completely away. It has been sleeting off and on since noon today and it is now snowing. Its very small snow flakes but I guess its better then nothing.

Whoa My goodness lol

Goodness I feel so run down and tired. I haven't felt this way since Neal was born. Neal has been sick. He has had a runny nose since Friday and started coughing on Sunday night. He's getting better now. He has started to sleep better. His nose is still a bit plugged so I have been restless when sleeping. Tuesday we went to Dave's for the night. On Wednesday (yesterday) I was sooooo tired I had a hard time keeping my eyes open while spending some alone, T.V. time with Dave. I ended up falling asleep. About 30 mins. before I woke up Neal was laid down for his nap in his crib at Dave's house. When I woke up, from where I was sitting on the couch, I could see Neal laying on his back playing with his feet and he didn't have pants on. From where I was sitting Neal was the only thing I could see. I couldn't see the rest of the crib. When Dave walked back into the room I asked him if he changed Neal's diaper. He said no. I asked him where Neal's pants were. He said they were on him. I told him they were not on him. We went into the room and I have no idea how he did this but Neal had pulled off his pants. I thought it was so funny. I picked Neal up, changed his diaper and put his pants and socks back on. He had gotten his socks off but that was nothing new. That was just the highlight of my day lol.

My Poor Boy

For the last couple of days Neal has not been feeling good. On Friday, Dec. 11, his nose started running. Last night he started to cough. Today he has been very cranky, runny nose and coughing. I put him down for his nap at 1:30PM. It is now 4:37PM and he is still asleep. My poor little bug is sick and I feel bad for him. If he is not better in a couple days we will be making a doctors appointment to help the sickness go away.

Introduction: Hi, I'm Miranda. I'm 20 (soon to be 21) years old and I have a wonderful son whom I could not live without.
Neal was born on April 8, 2009 (my older brothers birthday) at 10:30am. I was in labor for 29.5 hours and pushed for 4.5 hours. Neal is my first child. I would like to have another one. He was 8lbs 8oz and 21in long. His head was 14.5. He was born two days before his due date. He is now 8 months and 6 days old. Since he was born he had gotten 4 teeth (Bottom: Sept 29, Oct. 3, Top: Nov. 29, and Nov. 30). He has learned to sit on his own, crawl, stand, clap, and is now cruising around the living room using the furniture. He can also feed himself puff and pretty much anything you give him (Beside stuff that is more like pudding.). Yesterday, Dec. 13, 2009, He was on my bed with me, which is pushed up against a wall. He used the wall to stand up and was trying to grab the little holes (From old thumb tacks) that were in the wall. The next thing I know, he has let go of the wall completely (Not that you can really grip it in the first place). He stood there for a good 10 seconds before falling on his butt. I couldn't believe it! I had seen him do it once in his crib but he stood for a much shorter time in his crib then he did on my bed. I am beginning to think he is practicing this while I am asleep. We do share a room. We don't have a choice. I live with my parents so the only room we have to get away from everyone is the bedroom, but OMG I am still having a hard time getting over the fact that he is now getting brave enough to try to stand alone AND ON MY BED lol. I think this brings us up to speed. I am still upset that I deleted my other Blog by mistake. I am trying to make it up though.
Christmas: I got the majority of my shopping done. I still have about 3 people to get for. Its not easy though. I don't have a lot of money because my job (Wal-Mart) fired me for missing to many days while I was pregnant. You would think that my supervisor, who was pregnant as well and was due THE DAY AFTER ME, would understand but no she didn't care so when she left on her LOA she didn't tell anyone that I had missed work cause I was sick through my whole pregnancy and that was why I missed so much time which in the end resulted in my TERMINATION. Oh and get this. I can be hired back in JAN.! I don't want to go back but from the looks of it I don't have a choice. No one wants to hire someone who was fired and does not have experience. So this is where I am going to end it for now. I won't be posting for a couple of days, Neal and I are going to my Fiance's until Wednesday. Nighty Night!

Got A Cold

Yesterday was a long day. Neal has a cold and was fussy all day. On top of the cold he kept falling down and getting hurt. It was not his day. When I laid him down for the night he slept for about an hour before waking up. I gave him a small bottle since he had one before going to bed and laid him down again, this time I stayed in the room with him until he fell asleep. I have been noticing that he has not been able to fall asleep unless I'm in the room. I guess thats one bad thing about having to share a room. Well, I'm keeping this short. I have to go to sleep. I haven't been to bed yet. I wanted to make sure Neal was going to sleep more then and hour lol. Anyways, since I had to start a new blog, I am going to try to remember what I had on my last one. Some things I do know I had on there but I'm not posting them again. One was just to blow off some steam and I'm feeling much better now. So I'm going to bed now. I will try to remember everything. I do know I have to redo the post I had about Being pregnant with Neal and his birth story. Its going to be a long day. I hope I can get a lot of it in while Neal gets his nap, if he takes it. Anyways, Good Night/Morning.
